What's the investment?
I have a $300 session fee. The session fee includes shooting at a location of your choosing for as long as it takes to get the best shots (normally 1-2 hours); a sneak peak on my blog posted within 2 business days; an online gallery to view your images, share with family and friends, and purchase photos; and 30-40 fully-edited, hi-resolution digital files (print release included). Individual prints, canvases, and metals may be purchased as a package or at a la carte prices. Custom designed holiday cards and birth announcements are also available.

What can I expect?
Sessions typically last from 1 hour to 1.5 hours. Clothing changes are allowed. During our session you can expect a relaxed and fun atmosphere. I want you to feel at ease and enjoy yourself during our time together. I like to get to know my clients and capture their true personalities. With families and children you can expect both posed shots and candids. I try not to pose to terribly much, but rather let things flow naturally. I may give some direction here or there, or try to get everyone situated in a particular spot…don’t feel compelled to look at the camera, or to smile–unless you want to of course and don't worry if your kids aren't either.
Please expect to take breaks if small children are involved. Toddlers sometimes have meltdowns and don’t want to cooperate. That is okay! This is expected with children of almost any age and this is especially the norm with sessions with small children. I know, I have three myself! Try to stay as relaxed as much as possible and if your toddler has a fit than he has a fit, no worries. It will be a good idea to have your child's favorite snack and/or toy(s) ready.
What should I wear?
I recommend being creative & having fun with your clothing and accessories. Choose bold, solid colors for the center of the ensemble [ex: dark jeans + cute solid top] and mix with fun or funky accessories [scarves, flower headbands, pink heels, colored rainboots, pearls]. You can always bring a bag full of different accessories and I can help you choose which ones to wear at the location.
What other things can/should I bring to the session?
Fun props always make the shoot more interesting! Some of the best photo shoots that I’ve seen have had a central theme or inspiration. If you have an idea great, if not no worries. I will bring somethings with me and if we use them great if not that is not a problem.
