"where you invest your love, you invest your life."
mumford and sons
i was so excited when on a recent visit home to north carolina my dear friend lori asked me to come over for an afternoon of fun with her sweet family (who I also photographed here before baby paige arrived). they had just recently welcomed baby paige to the family and big brother and sister evan & taylor were so excited to show off the newest member of their family. as you can tell, lori makes this mama of three thing look way to easy.
big brother, evan is funny and sweet and little bit rowdy and definitely all BOY. he does a great job of keeping taylor out of trouble and helping her get into a fair share of it as well. he sure does love his mama and has a very tender way of keeping watch over his little sisters.
for now taylor sure does know how to steal the show but i bet before we know it baby paige is going to be giving her a run for her money in the attention department. at just two years old little miss taylor is a spitfire full of energy and mischief and always ready to keep up with big brother but as you can see she is also quickly learning all about being a little mommy and didn't want to go anywhere without her baby in her arms.
my sweet friend, thank you so much for welcoming me into your home once again. i love your friendship and i am so thankful for the way it has grown with us as we are forging our way forward on this journey through motherhood. you have the most beautiful family and an amazing husband, you are one of the most caring, honest people i know and i am so blessed to call you my friend. i love how we are almost always on the same page with things and how even when other mama's may think we are crazy, i know i can count on you to be thinking the same thing and ready with encouragement or a new idea. i always look forward to my trips home to north carolina and special time spent with you and your family. thank you for your patience, i hope the wait was worth it. thank you once again for trusting me to capture these precious moments with your little ones. they pass way by way to quickly and i pray that you may treasure these for many days to come.
all my love,
holly
